Ellie Mae Releases Encompass 3.0
Twelve system enhancements enable users to accomplish much more in less time
DUBLIN, CA—June 21, 2007—Ellie Mae, an award-winning provider of innovative software and services for the mortgage industry, has released Encompass 3.0, an upgrade of its award-winning Encompass Mortgage Management Solution. With 12 new system enhancements, Encompass 3.0 makes managing the loan cycle faster, easier and more efficient than ever before. Encompass 3.0 enables deeper two-way communication with borrowers and vendors, handles more varied loan programs, and integrates with even more third-party technology.
"One of the most exciting enhancements is that Encompass 3.0 is fully integrated with the newly launched Encompass WebCenter, Ellie Mae's next-generation of websites for mortgage originators," states Jonathan Corr, chief strategy officer for Ellie Mae. "Now, new leads and applications feed directly from the originator's website into Encompass. And because the systems are directly linked, users can provide their borrowers and partners real-time status updates without having to pick up the phone or write an email. It's a real cost saver."
The Encompass WebCenter is a next-generation web solution that serves as a direct extension of the user's Encompass system. Fully integrated into Encompass 3.0, the WebCenter provides Encompass users with both a professional, scalable and search-engine-friendly website and a secure online business center that originators can use not only to generate leads, but also to communicate and collaborate with borrowers and partners.
In addition, Encompass 3.0 supports even more third-party technology platforms, like the newest versions of several solutions by Microsoft, ACT!, and Adobe, so companies can easily utilize their updated software solutions. Furthermore, Encompass 3.0 can handle a larger array of loan programs, including piggyback loans and more Option ARM products. Compliance auditing for high cost and predatory loans is now completely automated within Encompass 3.0, and users can order title reports from any agent of their choosing, securely and electronically, directly through Encompass.
"The Encompass 3.0 upgrade specifically addresses the needs of today's Encompass users," states Corr. "We've listened to the feedback of our valued client partners and added enhancements that solve the most common and relevant issues they were facing. The result is an even more streamlined, collaborative and optimized system."
Other enhancements available in Encompass 3.0 include campaign management enhancements that enable group collaboration on marketing projects; calendar-sharing features that allow assistants and managers to view and edit each others' calendars right from inside Encompass; eDisclosure support that seamlessly and securely delivers initial disclosures to borrowers; state-specific disclosures for all 50 states; email status update enhancements; and more fields to store additional credit information.
"With the recent changes in Encompass 3.0, we're making it easier and easier to complete every activity within the loan cycle, with speed and accuracy, right from the Encompass system," asserts Corr.
