Ellie Mae Partners with Self-Help Enterprises to Support Homebuyer, Rehabilitation and New Homes Programs
Encompass speeds loan process, offers transparency and streamlined reports
PLEASANTON, Calif. – March 9, 2016 – Ellie Mae® (NYSE:ELLI), a leading provider of innovative on-demand software solutions and services for the residential mortgage industry, announced today that it has partnered with Self-Help Enterprises by providing 40 Encompass seats for the non-profit to help speed their loan review process and provide more streamlined reports for transparent sharing across teams.
With Encompass, loan officers with Self-Help Enterprises are now able to complete the entire process, from drawing up loan documents through funding, in one single system of record. Previously, forms were hand typed in Word documents, making sharing of information cumbersome and time consuming. Ellie Mae’s Encompass all-in-one mortgage management solution enables banks, credit unions and mortgage lenders to originate and fund mortgages while improving compliance, loan quality and efficiency in the process. As a single system of record, Encompass can be used by everyone in the loan production chain.
“Ellie Mae’s Encompass is a powerful solution for organizing and collaborating,” said Léon Romanazzi, Administrative Analyst of Self-Help Enterprises. “Previously, our loan processors were spending 6 to 8 hours to complete loan documents because they were typing them up in Word. Now we have streamlined reports, we can see what’s in process and what’s scheduled for funding. As a non-profit, Ellie Mae is helping us complete more loans more quickly, which enables us to get people into their homes faster. We’re truly thankful for their donation to our organization.”
Self-Help Enterprises is a nationally recognized community development organization whose mission is to work together with low-income families to build and sustain healthy homes and communities. In the last 50 years, Self-Help Enterprises’ efforts have touched the lives of over 50,000 families.
