Applied Business Software, Inc. and Ellie Mae Announce Strategic Partnership

Lenders can now receive documents straight from the mortgage originator's loan origination system

LOS ANGELES, CA—March 18, 2007—Applied Business Software Inc. (ABS), developer of The Mortgage Office™, the leading loan servicing software solution for the lending industry, and Ellie Mae Inc., an award-winning provider of innovative software and services for the mortgage industry, announced today that they have formed a strategic partnership to provide full product integration between The Mortgage Office™ and Encompass® mortgage automation system.

The integration between The Mortgage Office and Encompass will offer ABS' growing network of over 2,300 licensees the ability to seamlessly transfer loan data from Encompass® into The Mortgage Office™ - significantly streamlining the loan servicing process, eliminating redundant work as well as avoiding errors commonly associated with reentering loan information.

"With the late 2006 launch of Encompass Banker Edition and Encompass Custom Edition which serve the needs of bankers, it's a great time to integrate Encompass with servicing software solutions," explains Jonathan Corr, Ellie Mae's chief strategy officer. "We already have dozens of companies using these products, so integrating to servicing software is a natural next step.

Jerry Delgado, president of ABS, stated, "This alliance between ABS and Ellie Mae will provide our customers with an easy and effective way to transfer information between our products. We're proud of the creative and valuable assistance that the use of The Mortgage Office™ offers mortgage lending professionals."
